Invitation to be briefed on forthcoming tender – Functional Family Therapy

Warwickshire County Council invites contact from providers wishing to be briefed on Warwickshire’s requirement for Functional Family Therapy (FFT). We require access to qualified Functional Family Therapists who will meet with families at times and locations suitable to each situation, including the family home. The main focus will be to provide a prompt response for families where an adolescent is on the edge of care. Warwickshire will shortly be advertising for an organisation able to develop this evidence based programme. Such an organisation will already know that Functional Family Therapists are dependent on access to a caseload within a month of attending the first clinical training programme in order to progress and succeed. This is a prerequisite of the FFT model. Warwickshire is guaranteeing a caseload of 25 families per annum. This would ensure rapid consolidation for any organisation wishing to develop into this market. The value of this complex work with 25 families per year is valued at £70k per annum for 2 years, with possible one year extensions for a further 2 years. A suitable organisation will already have recruited, or be recruiting, therapists who have clinical experience of working with families in challenging and complex situations.

A suitable provider would be able to show an ability to deliver an evidence based programme such as the FFT model with fidelity.

The provider would be a beneficiary alongside Warwickshire of thorough evaluation of the programme over its initial two years.

If the above criteria apply to your organisation you are invited to make contact now for further briefing and to await an invitation to tender within the next month.
